Battle of the Bands 2009 a roaring success

Friday, May 29th 2009. WPAA rocked the Andover campus to the core, hosting this year’s Battle of the Bands in the Den. It was a great show and the bands showed some serious talent. When the dust settled, Andover’s famed Seven Layer Crunch Wrap Supreme reigned supreme and recieved a stunning trophy. It was a fantastic night!

Will there be a recording of the Battle of the Bands on the website soon? Derek Farquahar did a terrific job recording the whole thing on what looked like a small DVR. We have homey relatives who want to see what went on!

Unfortunately, our computer crashed at the beginning of battle of the bands so we did not get the audio recordings. I am not sure what happened to the video but I will ask him and hopefully we can get some videos up on the site.
